AIMS

This workshop will bring together international experts, a range of stakeholders and medical professionals from all stages of training or career progression, to focus on the area of differential attainment/ award based on race, ethnicity, gender, disability and other protected characteristics 
  • To explore how the narrow definition of medical professionalism may be contributing to the differential outcomes in matters of breaches of professional standards, process of investigations, referrals to the regulator and decisions
  • To discuss the impact on individuals, patients and organisations and develop a consensus on solutions.
